Saying goodbye is never easy and the loss of a loved one at any point can be overwhelming for those trying to deal with grief and organising a funeral. Whether there is a plan already in place, or you can’t think where to begin, Stuart takes you gently and sensitively through organising a time that will uniquely reflect and celebrate the life of your loved one.
The ritual of a funeral is surrounded in mystery and taboo but in reality there is no required format or even location. You can have the celebration almost anywhere and with whatever music, readings or other ways of remembering and celebrating your loved one as you want.
It doesn’t have to be expensive to be the perfect send off but it should be deeply personal. Whether you want a woodland burial, a simple cremation, or a brass band on a barge down the river Stuart will work with you sensitively to choose the format, location, words and music to enable the deceased to have a unique and appropriate send off.
Stuart has experience of working with people with a range of disabilities and special needs and specialises in creating ceremonies that are accessible and inclusive.
